Prior to the release of the album Heat of the Night, South Carolina artist Kuntry has been building his fan base and spreading his ‘Fengshui’ throughout the state.

Placing a billboard on I-95 promoting his smash hit ‘Really Going’ produced by Ty Da Prince Beats was quite rewarding. Kuntry gained more traffic (no pun intended) and attention from many including major platforms, radio stations, and blog sites in SC and around the region. Taking his music and marketing to another level with tracks like ‘Euphoria’, ’Year 2020’, ‘Alive’, ‘Lavish’, 'Adding Up' and ‘Do Your Dance’, Kuntry forged his way to the forefront and in the sight of new viewers.

The self proclaimed ‘Fengshui God’ stands out when it comes to creative content and entertaining videos to pair with his music. A prime example is present in his rollout for his projects, Halftime Lover and Heat of the Night, and singles like One More Chance and YOU. These projects and singles have established Kuntry not only as a rapper, but as a talented creative in the state. Please do not expect Kuntry’s creativity to dial back or slow down.

Check out the brief Q&A below with Kuntry (previously known as Lo Kuntry) and his video One More Chance shot and directed by BowMugz. Be sure to browse his YouTube channel. Halftime Lover, Heat of the Night, and many more are out now on all digital platforms.

Q: Being that your name was Lo Kuntry... do you have something against the upstate (864 area) ? Where does the name originate ?

A: No I do not have anything against upstate, I love the whole South Carolina. The name was given to me while I was attending college because I was the only person from the low country so the name just stuck with me.

Q: With so much and nothing going on at the same time... What inspires you to make music lately? Who do you make music for ??

A: I make music for the world. & my inspiration comes from LIFE itself.

Q: Lastly, Is it safe to say you’re big on nature and the flow of energy ? I see you reference Fengshui often, even w/ your clothing . What’s up with that ?

A: A few years ago in a time when everyone was swagging and drip’n there needed to be something different. Hence the term Fengshui which I coin and branded to make my own, which is a part of everyone’s every day life. If there’s no structure there is no order (Fengshui). I wouldn’t say I am spiritual, I would only say I am growing, finding & learning more of  myself. All that to say I am the Fengshui God👑👺
